The Gloucestershire Schools Football Association (GSFA) provides football opportunities for school aged children in the education authorities of Gloucestershire, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
The GSFA runs county competitions for secondary schools up to U18 and stages the county rounds of the English Schools Football Association (ESFA) Danone Nations Cup for primary school aged children.
In addition the GSFA runs county representative teams for both boys and girls. These teams compete in South West Schools FA regional leagues and in ESFA national cup competitions. These teams provide an opportunity for gifted young players to compete at a higher level and for the most talented to access to national trials for the England Schoolboys and Schoolgirls teams.
The GSFA is run by a committee of education professionals who are all volunteers and give their time to provide football opportunities for the young people in the schools served by the GSFA.
The committee is supported by an admin support service purchased from Gloucestershire FA. The named administrator is Laura Faulkner laura.faulkner@gloucestershirefa.com .
All volunteers that work with children are subject to appropriate checks and the GSFAs Child Welfare Officer is Paul Hockey phockey@farmors.gloucs.sch.uk
